EVERY ANIME WITH A »8.20 SCORE, IN OPENINGS

In the case you’re confused, THE SCORE IS RELATED TO THE ANIME, not the opening.

I made a list of every anime with a score over 8.20 on My Anime List and then put a piece of each anime’s opening, one after another, in chronological order.

These are (what are supposed to be) the best anime of all time! I hope you can discover new anime to watch with it.

Q: WHY NO SEQUELS? There’s sequels who are better than the original.

A: In most cases (there’s exceptions of course), the original is a more accurate rating for the show, because a lot of people who didn’t liked the first season will not watch the second, and people who loved the first season will always watch the second – so the second, and others, have a bias. I know this is not the case every time, but it was a simple way to deal with anime with many seasons and to make the video as varied as possible.

***I know this is very unfair with Clannad: After Story*** (I never watched it, but a lot of people are commenting), so I included it on the Top 50 on the fixed comment.

Q: Why 8.20?

A: Initially it was going to be 8.00, but the upon making the script of the video I realized it would turn to be too long, so I had to increase the threshold. 8.20 was a good choice because the video length turned acceptable (and it still included some of my favorites such as Utena and DMC).
