  1. there are 2 imperial class star destroyers and 1 interdictor class cruiser on the empires side. id say its a bit of an overkill but id do it with the same amaunt of ships. the terrorist must be eliminated no matter the cost.

  2. 5:10 "And it's a female, which is obviously cool." After the second or third time watching this short, I started fondly referring to her as Ensign Scarchick. She is indeed the coolness. So is Captain Moustache in the Interceptor. But Ensign Sideburns in the Fighter might need to slam a few protein shakes before he can join the Cool Club. 🙂

The TIE Bomber itself is sexy too. Back when I was racking up many hours playing Star Wars: TIE Fighter in the mid-90's, TIE Bombers were my jam. I was like, "What? You want me to fly this highly advanced TIE Avenger again? Pfft! Just give me a TIE Bomber and I will completely burn that Nebulon-B!" I actually killed off a Mon Calamari Cruiser with my beloved TIE Bomber once or twice; just find the right distance behind the Cruiser, take out the Cruiser's cannons and shields with ion blasts, then fly right up the Cruiser's tailpipe and slam two twin-linked space bombs up its butt. Worked like a charm (so long as all my AI buddies were keeping the X-Wings off of me, anyway; Bombers aren't as hot in a dogfight).

  3. I'm actually glad that no big Companies ever made a Star Wars from the Eyes of the Imperials because I am certain the Imperial main Character will have doubts and joins the Rebellion later on anyways.

  4. Star Wars Anime? YES PLEASE! Disney NEEDS to hire OtaKing for a mini-series RIGHT NOW! My only criticism is that this style doesn't lend itself well to high paced Lightsaber fights but as long as Lightsaber fights are at a minimum this would be a money making machine.

  5. You mentioned some of the more recent games and movies out there. you should really play some of the older games. X-wing, X-wing alliance, Tie fighter and X-wing VS Tie-fighter. though they are from the DOS and Windows 95 era, and cannot be played without a joystick, they are an essential part of the star wars History. more importantly of Lucas-arts. (you can get them on steam believe it or not, and they do work with newer computers.)

The way the cockpit of the X-wing looked is a complete throw back to those older games by a huge margin, especially the energy displays for shield, weapon and engine. even more so the red warning light and sound indicating a missile lock and incoming along with the two round sensor displays, left being infront and the right one being behind is very well known to players of those older games.

And as you suggest "a day in the life if an imperial (pilot, trooper, officer)" I would love to see (So far only found Star Wars: I.M.P.S as the only 'fan made' fix for that), even if it were in anime form. personally I prefer the anime style over the 3d animation style like they use for Star Wars Rebels and the like.
Japanese Animation does allow for some very nice things like how detailed the cockpit was on the X-wing in that short without requiring extensive work that 3d Modeling and texturing entails.

  6. Hot damn!  Star Wars and anime together.  A dream match-up if there ever was one.  I'd love to see some more, longer videos like this.   Maybe even re-do the original trilogy as anime would be a fanboy's wet dream come to life.
